While both sculpted and regular tend to be free-form, "live-edge", rustic and generally lacking straight lines, power tools play a greater role in the production of the regular stuff.  The sculpted stuff is more ornate typically having something like a human, animal, plant or geometrical design carved into the piece by hammer and chisel.  However, these pieces can be just as functional as regular pieces.  Priced for all budgets, starting from a few dollars and going on up into the thousands.
